Our friendly guides are story-tellers that strive to entertain you with stories that will educate even long-time residents of the very neighborhoods we’ll explore!Feels Like A Local
We’ll take you to lesser-known food purveyors. We’ll answer all your questions about our city. And you’ll leave us with the knowledge of a true Richmond insider.Who We Are

Brian
Founder & Tour Guide
Originally from Florida, Brian is the founder of River City Food Tours. He moved to Richmond in 2009 and has adopted it as his home. Brian loves people, and he loves Richmond, and thinks that food tours are a great way to show more people what they should love about Richmond. Join a food tour and become one of those people!

Erin
Founder & Tour Guide
Living in Richmond since 2011 and trying new food since the mid-1980’s, Erin is River City Food Tours’ Culinary Consultant. This means that new tour stops aren’t added to the tours without first gaining the approval of her tastebuds. Two of Erin’s favorite things are eating and Crossfitting, which seem like opposites, but she makes it work!

Annie
Your Friendly Guide
Annie moved to RVA when she was four and has been lucky enough to see our amazing city flourish over the last 20 years. When she’s not working her normal 9-5, you can find her at a local poetry slam, volunteering, or trying new food around town. She also claims to have a knack for picking the perfect candle.

Elise
Your Friendly Guide
Elise is proud to belong to the VCU Ramily and is a thankful Northern Virginia transplant. She’s known to bike all over Richmond, and you’ll often find her exploring the James River Park System, the local indie music scene, or the history archives of the city’s public libraries.

Kelsey
Your Friendly Guide
Kelsey’s two primary hobbies are kayaking and baking, although never at the same time (not yet, anyway). She’s a proud explorer of Richmond’s great outdoors and its food scene, and recently did a 24-hour, 100-mile team running race. Fun fact: Kelsey used to live in Holland!

Lindsey
Your Friendly Guide
Lindsey has lived in Richmond for almost her entire life, and spent time living in several of Richmond’s great neighborhoods. She’s an avid fan of the city’s food and beverage scene, and you’ll often find her out and about. Lindsey is also an actual rock star – she’s in two different bands!

Paverick
Your Friendly Guide
A native of the Richmond area, Paverick is a high school Spanish teacher by day, and a nearly professional dodgeball player by night. He’s also a master storyteller, and knows how to eat an excellent flan. Fun fact: Paverick has a twin brother!

Rachel
Your Friendly Guide
Rachel is a born-and-raised Virginian and VCU Ram for life. By day, she is a career advisor, and by nights (and weekends), a side-hustle extraordinaire. She’s currently on a mission to find her favorite brunch in the city, and loves to brag to everyone about how amazing RVA is. Fun fact: Rachel has had the same car since she was 16, and has driven it across the country twice.
